Situated on a peninsula bordering the Mediterranean Sea, this villa is an architectural gem defined by a futurist design of the international modernism from the late 1930’s (see the notes section below for more information).
The distinctive ‘Villa La Sirenetta’ accommodates up to 20 people in 10 bedrooms (1000 m²).
The villa is situated in a large private park (20000 m²), set above the cliffs, and surrounded by the sea. Plenty of space to meander through the extensive grounds, discover the various terraces and secluded areas inside the gardens, and enjoy the sights and scents of the Mediterranean. The swimming pool will allow for family moments of refreshment and entertainment for the kids. Further up the park is a guesthouse for additional guests.
Located in Sestri Levante, the Villa La Sirenetta offers a maximum level of privacy, while being within walking distance (250 m) of the town centre. Sestri Levante is a lovely seaside town with many excellent restaurants and Ligurian shops. You’ll have the choice of a large sandy beach ‘Bay of Fairy Tales’ on one side and the romantic beach ‘Bay of Silence’ on the other side of this peninsula village. Nearby along the Italian Riviera you’ll easily get to the famous Cinque Terre villages, the posh Portofino, or the vibrant city of Genova.
– The entrance leads into a remarkable hall from where a staircase guides you to the first floor. Here you’ll find the living area with a dinner table and a sitting corner with TV and open fireplace, a sunny lounge area with comfy couches, and a kitchen. The living area boasts high ceilings and large windows opening out on the terrace and garden with panorama views over the sea. This floor’s sleeping area includes three bedrooms (two with double beds and one with two single beds), a bathroom with tub, a bathroom with toilet, and a balcony overlooking the sea.
– The second floor features a sleeping area with two bedrooms with double bed, two bathrooms (one with tub, and a smaller one with shower), an office room, and a balcony overlooking the sea.
– On the ground floor are another 2 bedrooms (one with double bed and a smaller one with 2 single beds), and two bathrooms.
– Further up the park near the entrance gate is an independent guesthouse (100 m²) with 3 bedrooms: it is composed of a small living room and kitchenette, a bedroom with double bed, two bedroom with two single beds (which can be joined together), a bathroom with shower and little tub.
