Welcome to Son Bunyola, Sir Richard Branson’s idyllic hideaway on Mallorca’s northwest coast. Set within the spectacular Tramuntana Mountains with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, this vast estate is a part of a World Heritage site, covering 1,300 acres and includes three villas - Sa Punta de S’Aguila, Sa Terra Rotja and Son Balagueret.
The stunning location of Son Bunyola makes for the perfect place to unwind with a dip in the pool, or a spot of yoga and tennis, all whilst enjoying the awe-inspiring views - but the mountainous landscape is also ideal for hiking. There are some creative and culinary experiences for you to get stuck in too, or how about venturing further afield to the Mallorcan beaches and setting sail on the tranquil Mediterranean waters?
Translating as ‘Red Earth’ in the local Mallorquín language, Sa Terra Rotja is a four-bedroom villa with plenty of character. Sleeping up to 8 guests, there is also a private pool and endless terraces to soak up the sun. The villa is conveniently located near the edge of the estate with direct access to the communal tennis courts.
The bedrooms are arranged at one end of the villa, apart from the private Master Suite on the upper level, which has magnificent views out to sea.
There’s also an array of inviting social spaces to enjoy. Relax in the large lounge area with access to the outdoor pergola or find a snack in the sleek kitchen.
For dinner, both indoor and outdoor dining areas are available, so the choice is completely up to you. Spectacular views are guaranteed from both locations.
